The awakening has arrived and Rastar Records is on a mission to unify artists with an uplifting, diverse movement in order to enhance the positivity of roots reggae music.
The collaboration of such vibes will assist Rastar Records in ventures such as refurbishing the Haile Selassie I High School in Kingston, Jamaica; with a percentage of all proceeds from record sales and Rastar Records events will be donated to the school in the form of educational materials for teachers and students. The first in the label’s endeavors is coming this July, the beginning set of celebrations in honoring His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I; in an event crowned: “Hail the King”. This musical journey features headliners Midnite Band and I-Wayne, Droop Lion, alongside Sista Moy, Little Hero, Pzed, and many more.
This unique experience will ascend onto Atlanta, GA at the Variety Playhouse July 18, moving forward to Orlando, FL at The Social on July 19 and finally paving the way to Revolution live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on July 20th. Pay-per-view will be available for the July 20th concert. Rastar Records plans on extending “Hail the King” to various countries and continuing the mystical, multicultural, event on an annual basis to augment the cause and serve humanity in the name of Rastafari.
A ‘pay per view’ is available for all three concerts for $10.00 each. Click any of these links:
