The family of Gregory Isaacs in Jamaica is continuing the charity work started by the late reggae artiste in the late 90’s.
June Isaacs, Gregory’s widow, has setup a foundation in the late singer’s honour which is to assist charitable organisations.

Colin Leslie, a long time family friend and close associate of the legendary singer, says Isaacs’ family intended to establish a foundation to carry on the late artiste’s charitable work and preserve his legacy.

A donation has already been made to the Walkers Place of Safety. Isaacs, dubbed “The Cool Ruler”,  got involved with the institution to assist the children who have been indentified as being at risk.

For more than a decade, the home for orphans, abandoned and mentally challenged children founded in 1972 by the late Ivy Walker has been a beneficary of the late crooner and his widow has decided to keep alive his charitable contribution to the home.
