CLF PRODUCTIONS ~ ROCKABESSA HERBS & MUSIC FESTIVAL
November 1, 2016 ~ Rio Nuevo Village & Great House, St Mary, Jamaica ~ The Rockabessa Herbs & Music Festival is excited to present their two day Festival, December, 3 & 4, 2016, from 12 noon to 2 am each day. The festival is an exciting destination for industry professionals, international & local media & fans who share a passion for reggae music & herb. The itinerary is designed to inspire & excite patrons and curate a unique festival experience.
Day 1, December 3, will feature Symposium 1, covering Cannabis Entrepreneurship, Medicinal Uses & Retail from 2- 5 pm with presentations by the University of the West Indies, Scientific Research Council, Ministry of Tourism (health tourism- therapeutic), Cannabis Growers & Producers Association.
The Herb Village, both days will showcase Cannabis & Cannabis Products in various forms. The Expo format will consist of booths for vendors including by-products of cannabis, corporate companies, .value added products, provision of pamphlets with important information on the industry in Jamaica by various stakeholders and special interest groups.
The Rastafarian Village, both days will include art & craft, wellness, spa and drumming.
The Taino African Museum Tour, both days will be open to all patrons throughout the day.
Traditional food, Ital/Vegan dishes, beverages and camping will be available.
Entertainment on Saturday kicks off with a Dub Session from 6pm-8pm
Foundation Sound Systems & Guest Dj’s from 8pm-2am include King Jammys, Metromedia, Bob Clarke, & DJ Smurf (segments of presentations by upcoming Recording Reggae Artistes)
~ A Bon Fire will be blazing on the beach both nights from 2am-6am including reasoning & pouring of Libation and herbal teas
Day 2, December 4 will begin with Symposium 2, Cannabis Licensing & Cultivation, from 12pm-3pm. Presentations by: Jamaica Cannabis Licensing Authority, Ministry of National Security, Bureau of Standards, Cannabis Growers & Produces Associations
Symposium 3 will feature the Reggae Renaissance from 3pm,-6pm, with presentations from the Reggae Industry Association of Jamaica, Ministry of Culture & Entertainment, Recording Artistes and Lawyer on Intellectual Property/Copy right laws.
Special Awards Presentations to Reggae Music Icons ; Awardees to be announced in subsequent releases.
Authentic Roots, Rock, Reggae Entertainment from 8:30pm-2am include a lineup that will inspire & excite Rockabessa including Sizzla, Max Romeo and his musical family Xana Romeo & Azizzi Romeo, Three the Hard Way including Josie Wales, Charlie Chaplin & Brigadier Jerry, I Wayne, Andrew Tosh, Papa Curvin, Peter Lloyd, Isha Blender, Derrick Lara, Cunnie Bud, Vijahn & others
