World A Reggae is always on the lookout for new talents, and where better to find them than at the annual Jamaica’s Best School Band Competition? Every year we are amazed by the amount of talent in Jamaica, and we are thankful to be able to give the JBSB an extra platform to showcase the skills of those students. We hope to see one or more of the talents on stages world wide one day!

This year Four out of ten schools made it to the grand finale of the eleventh season of the competition tasked to perform an 8-10-minute set from the theme ‘Remix and Fusion’. With a masterful performance, Dinthill Technical ‘smashed’ the dreams of defending Champion St. Mary High School Dreamz Band retaining the title and the hopes of the ever-improving Calabar High who placed 2nd and 3rd respectively with only one separating them. Seasoned campaigners Belair High placed 4th.
