I remember a time when it was said Burning Spear would be doing the last of his live shows in California. This was a couple of years back. Everyone flocked to the Hollywood Bowl show for that very reason. That was to be the last one we’d see out here. Fast forward to today, and we’ve been fortunate to see him a FEW TIMES since then. Not sure what changed…but it’s been great!

This time around we get an even better offering. Not only is the African Postman returning. But he’s bringing along Kabaka Pyramid fresh off his most recent Grammy win for Best Reggae Album. And that doesn’t even include our local Champion Sound, Jah Mikey One, who held down the opening DJ duties for the show. All of this in the beautiful South Lake Tahoe thanks to our friends at Late Nite productions.

Kabaka also recently hooked up with a local youngster, Lake Anthony. And they had a memorable few moments together as Lake helped out on his Red, Gold, and Green tune. Here are a few shots from that night. Hope you enjoy!
