Reggae on the River, The iconic reggae festival in Northern California, is set to take place from August 2-4, 2024 in Southern Humboldt County and promises an unforgettable experience with international headlining acts and many festival attractions, including onsite camping.
The daily lineup features an amazing set of artists: Friday will see performances from Anthony B, Stylo G, and Pressure Buspipe, among others. Saturday boasts big names like Konshens, Capleton, and Lila Ike, while Sunday wraps up with Collie Buddz, J-Boog, and Sister Nancy. Just so you know, a special Saturday night event, Kings of the Earth Soundclash, will add extra excitement. This year, the festival introduces cannabis sales directly from Humboldt County’s legendary family weed farms, enhancing the festival’s unique vibe.
Reggae on the River, founded in 1984, remains a well-liked global reggae event known for its “homegrown” community spirit. This year’s venue, County Line Ranch in Piercy, California, offers beautiful trees, ample shade, and the familiar bend in the Eel River, with music playing from noon until late night across three stages. Festival producer Leo Ahern emphasized the commitment to the community by maintaining General Admission three-day ticket prices at $299 through August 1, ensuring accessibility for all. Single-day passes for Sunday, August 4th, are available for $125. The fully family-friendly event, where children under 12 are admitted free with an adult, also highlights local food, drinks, crafts, art, and vendors, making it a celebration for all ages.
