Blended Culture is founded in March of 2006 by singer/vocalist Missrah. At first the group consisted of vocalists, a dj and dancers. It was only in January 2008 that the band was established. The band consists of several musicians and vocalists (see about us ). Individually and together they have a lot of years of experience in the music business.
Blended Culture specializes in Reggae, Roots, Dancehall and Loversrock. The band has its own sound with a commercial appeal to it. Therefore it’s possible for Blended Culture to act not only on a reggae stage but also on a pop stage or world music stage.
Examples of Blended Culture’s performances include Couleur Locale, Congress of Europe, Haags Pop Podium Live, Bazart Buiten Festival, Westerpop, Summertime Festival and Reggae Splash Concert amongst others.
Blended Culture’s main objective is to give talented youngsters a chance by giving them a guest appearance on the show. This is one of the reasons why the band often acts with special guests.
