Mid-West Reggae Fest will be held from August 10, 2012 to August 12, 2012 at Whiskey Island, downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Dancehall acts will bun up de place on Friday night, August 10th and the roots soldiers are scheduled to perform on Saturday and Sunday.
The 21st annual Midwest Reggae Festival started as a three day event which has been held at Nelson Kennedy Ledges State Park in northeastern Ohio. It is an annual event, and as of 2010 the event is in its 19th year. The festival features three days of live reggae bands along with numerous food vendors, swimming, camping, and various other outdoor activities.
The event has been called “One of the best reggae festivals in the USA” by the Reggae Festival Guide and “The best party of the summer!” by the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
