Als communicatie kanaal van het Amsterdam Reggae Festival wil World A Reggae graag het volgende mededelen:
De organisatie heeft er alles aan gedaan om het Amsterdam Reggae Festival op 26 februari plaats te laten vinden. Door verschillende omstandigheden buiten de macht van de organisatie kunnen er drie van de 6 artiesten niet kunnen komen. Dit zijn Elephant Man (Verdachte in een verkrachtingszaak) Bounty Killer (Miscommunicatie) en Queen Ifrica (Zwanger en uitgerekend in April). Aangezien de organisatie het publiek een volwaardig festival wil bieden is er voor gekozen dat festival niet op 26 februari gehouden zal worden.
De organisatie zal hopelijk dit weekend nog met een officieel statement komen. Dit statement is tot vooralsnog uitgebleven omdat ze er alles aan wilden doen alsnog een mooie line-up neer te zetten. Naar alle waarschijnlijk zal het festival verplaatst worden naar Mei.
Amsterdam Reggae Festival Postponed!
As a communication channel of the Amsterdam Reggae Reggae Festival we would like to bring you the following statement:
The organization has done everything in his reach to organize this coming Amsterdam Reggae Festival which should take place on February 26, 2012 in the Heineken Music Hall. Unfortunately, due to various circumstances beyond the control of the organization three of the 6 artists can not come over to Europe to perform at the festival. These artists are Elephant Man (suspect in a rape case in JA) Bounty Killer (Miscommunication) and Queen Ifrica (Pregnant, giving birth in April). Because the organization of the festival wants only the best for there audience, it is decided that the festival can not be held this February 26, 2012.
Hopefully the organization will release an official statement this weekend. An Official statement isn’t given yet because the organization still wanted to do set up a nice line-up. As far as we know now, the festival will be moved to May, this year!
