Anthony B ignited Revolution Live in Ft Lauderdale, Florida on September 28, 2013. Masterone Productions and Anthony B’s label, Born Fire Music presented ‘Reggae by the Sea’, the album release party for his latest album ‘Tribute to the Legends’.
‘Tribute to the Legends’ pays homage to some of music greats as Ray Charles, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, Elvis Presley, the Beatles and John Lennon, amongst others. “I chose to make a tribute album to show how much these legends influenced my music and my life. I think a lot of young people need to know where we are coming from musically and to help them be better in the future.”
Mixed Culture performed an invigorating opening set, setting the pace for the evening. Romain Virgo’s energy and vibes rejuvenated the audience, as he performed hit after hit. Veteran Freddie McGregor smooth vocals always creates a lot of excitement as the audience sang along.
Green House Band, including guitarist Dalton Browne, Freddy’s key, did an awesome job backing the artistes along with Peter Williamson on keyboards, Osbourne Elliott on drums, and Peter Lewis, on bass. Anthony B performed a stellar set, including some of his biggest tunes that made him such a sought after entertainer.
It was a rainy night in Florida, and still the fans came out to support this long awaited concert, which didn’t disappoint the audience.
