On Saturday 16th February 2013, Bassculture and the North Sea Jazz Club proudly present the first edition of ‘The Junction’, a Vinyl and live acts cross over ‘night out’ with a love for original and diverse tracks. On the same night, expect a spectacular blend of Jazz, Soul, Cumbia, HipHop, Skwee, Afrobeat, Dub, Electroswing and Erotic Funk, as well as unique live performances by local and national artists.
The program will start in the early evening with the exclusive live act by Sinas’ 8 musicians and the guest star Zanillya, presenting their new single: ‘Free Energy’. The night continues with a live performance by Phil Horneman and Lorrèn (Wicked Jazz Sounds), followed by Kubus’ set and various sides acts during the evening with Hotmamahot DJ’s collective.
Live musicians, DJ’s and performers will guarantee the finest dance floor shakers of tomorrow and wicked tunes from the past. MC Diamanta and Lorrèn are the hostesses for the night and will take the audience on a unique journey with heavenly vocals. No stroboscopes, but more candles. Some jumping, but more wining. Few mash-ups, but more love-ups…
