(Miami, FL – March 22, 2011) South Florida’s premier music and lifestyle promotions companies, XO Management and Rockers Island Entertainment, are proud to announce the expansion of Best Of The Best, their long-running Memorial Weekend destination event, which returns to the city of Miami this May 26th – 30th. Presented by FEVER Stimulation Beverage, Best Of The Best Weekend 2011 will be anchored by two blockbuster music festivals held downtown at Bicentennial Park (1075 Biscayne Blvd.), and also feature a series of smaller gatherings and activities that honor the city’s vibrant, multicultural community.

“This year it’s about celebrating our differences in the same backyard,” explains Rockers Island CEO, Joseph Louis. “The goal is to make a stronger connection between our music and the diverse culture of South Florida that consistently draws millions of visitors from all over the world.”

Spring Fest, the first concert on Saturday, May 28th will showcase some of the biggest names in R&B and Soul, including Chris Brown, who has been tapped to headline. The entire lineup will be revealed shortly. Sunday, the 29th will boast top acts in Reggae, Hip-Hop, Dancehall and Soca, such as Stephen and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, DJ Khaled, Vybz Kartel (who will appear with his band live via satellite from Jamaica), Allison Hinds, Trina, Assassin, Etana, Sanchez, I-Octane, Ace Hood, Stephen McGregor, Chino, Richie Loop, Demarco and Romain Virgo.

Organizers plan to announce more artists and official events in the coming weeks. Co-Executive Producer, Jabba of Massive B says, “Music lovers are going to be pleased by what we have in store for them during Memorial Weekend. We’re taking the Best Of The Best theme to a whole other level.”
