Despite a criminal charge of harboring a fugitive being dismissed (because of insufficient evidence) in the Half-Way-Tree Criminal Court recently, there’s still apparently a long way to go for reggae artiste Luciano to regain his U.S. visa (it was canceled after he was charged) and be able to work in that country.
Luciano was scheduled to perform on April 30 at the 2011 Miami Reggae Festival, but a press release issued recently by the show’s organizers stated that Luciano was being replaced on the line-up by Morgan Heritage, as “due to unforeseen conditions, Luciano’s Management have been unable to resolve pressing immigration issues as it relates to the artist being able to travel to or perform in the United States.“
