Netherlands’ first, iconic (to fans and artists) and coziest open-air reggae festival returns this August 13. The festival will be back to the city where it once started in 1996, The city of Lights: Eindhoven. After 16 successful editions, the festival has definitely proven its right to exist. During these years the number of visitors grew from 1750 in 1996 at the 1st edition to an amazing 50.000 spread over the weekend at the 2007 and 2008 editions!

This 17th edition of Reggae Sundance will take place on the grounds of the beautifully situated and extremely atmospheric Karpendonkse Plas. The festival grounds will of course be fully transformed into the well-known Sundance spheres! Nice music, the original festival market, delicious foods, cocktails, and children’s entertainment.

The Reggae Sundance is currently working hard to assemble a varied line-up for the visitors and fans so that they can enjoy their favorite artists again, and skank to the swinging reggae beats.

Reggae Sundance consists of a completely selfless organization, supported by many volunteers to give visitors a relaxed and ‘irie‘ day. Without these volunteers, there would have never been a Reggae Sundance festival. Partly because of these volunteers it is possible for Reggae Sundance to keep a very reasonable ticket price.
This way they can guarantee the festival is and will remain accessible to everyone.
