ZonaSun presents the EP Rising, including two previously released singles –Too Late and Nuff Love – and two brand new tracks. The Swiss band wanted to mark the third step on the way towards the new album by collecting the first songs that will form it. The album is scheduled for autumn 2024.

The tracklist opens with Rise Up, an energetic and militant song, written and sung in collaboration with the Swiss reggae ambassador Cookie The Herbalist.

It is followed by Too Late, the first single of this new musical chapter of the Ticino band. The song is built on a roots riddim with a very contemporary sound and the lyrics are full of hope for the future of our planet and humanity.

The second unreleased track is More and More, a love song with Soul/R&B influences.

Nuff Love, the last song, has a more urban flavor and presents the global geopolitical situation in a disillusioned way. The ending has a dancehall sound and it’s an invitation to unite in the name of brotherhood.

This EP represents the dawn of a new era for ZonaSun, where the positive energy of music is converted into a source of strength, growth and change.

The dazzling sun on the cover, created by Mr. Chamuyo, is both a clear reference to the band’s name and to the blind condition of Tom Siddh, leader and author of ZonaSun.

Rising was produced by Tom Siddh himself with Jacques Shamano Moretti and mixed and mastered by Ciro Princevibe Pisanelli. It is available on digital platforms.
