Opening Acts and Day-wise Highlights

• Friday, July 5: The festival kicks off with an explosive blend of genres. Expect performances from German rap icons Sido and RIN, reggae rhythms from Collie Buddz, and the dynamic dancehall beats of Busy Signal. These artists set the stage for a weekend of diverse musical styles that Summerjam is famous for.
• Saturday, July 6: Saturday promises to be memorable with Marsimoto, the green-masked alter ego of Marteria, taking his final bow on the Green Stage. Known for his theatrical performances, Marsimoto’s farewell promises a dramatic spectacle enveloped in his signature green smoke. The day also features KYBBA alongside the Jugglerz, ensuring the festival island resonates with Afrobeat and dancehall vibes from early afternoon into the night.
• Sunday, July 7: The festival reaches its crescendo with Afrobeat superstar Burna Boy headlining on the Red Stage. Performing his only festival show in Western Germany, Burna Boy, known as “The African Giant,” will deliver a powerful closing set, capping off the festival with his renowned energetic presence and hit-laden repertoire.

New Additions to the Line-Up

The festival continues to expand its diverse line-up with the inclusion of Konshens, a stalwart in the dancehall scene. Known for his charismatic performances and collaborations with artists like RAF Camora and Sean Paul, Konshens adds a vibrant energy to the roster. Additionally, Martin Jondo and Miwata bring their unique blends of reggae, pop, and rap, delivering soulful and socially conscious music. German rapper Fatoni, making his Summerjam debut, will bring his ironic and socially critical new album “Wunderbare Welt” to the stage.
