On June 5 ‘our own’ Ziggi Recado took part in the benefit concert Reggae 4 Japan, for the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, in New York City. Other artists performing were Damian Marley, Capleton, Shabba Ranks, Alaine and more …

The concert was produced by Japanese sound system Mighty Crown with executive sponsorship fromlabel VP Records, promoters Irish and Chin and radio station Irie Jam, Scion, Rocker’s Island, 24×7 Records, Woofin’, NRL, Far East Connection, Nesta Brand, Bennett Limo, Riddim Driven and Conkur Printing.

Ziggy was also in New York to promote the north American release of his album ZIGGI RECADO. While in New York he visited Pat McKay at Sirius Satellite Radio for an interview.
