Having been out the local spotlight for sometime reggae recording artist Lutan Fyah is back and ready to promote his latest single entitled “18 and Over” which is featured on the hot new “Multiple Hits Riddim” by Montego Bay based producer DJ Stunna.
Lutan who has been in and out the island since the start of the year, recorded the conscious track which address issues such as child abuse late last year and recently shot a video which he hopes will highlight similar issues in society. “Crimes Of these nature are escalating an we want to protect the youth because they are the future of Jamaica”.
According to DJ Stunna working with Lutan was a blessing. “It was a good experience having Lutan on the Multiple Hits riddim. “18 and Over” is a positive song that we know is going to be a hit so we giving it the full backing. We already shot the video for the song and it will be released in a few days so everyone can lookout for that and many more big stars on this new riddim”.
Lutan who returns to the island this week is one of several big name reggae artist who has already graced the highly anticipated riddim. “Also featured on the Multiple Hits Riddim is Anthony B, Chuck Fendah, Zamunda, Ginjah, Dre Zee, Jah Vinchi, I Octane and more to come”. stated Stunna
Since the start of the year crimes such as sexual abuse and rape has been brought to public attention following alarming statistics from the Center For Investigation Of Sexual Offenses & Child Abuse (CISOCA) which shows a stark increase the number of reported cases. Since then several members of the entertainment have recorded songs denouncing the attack on Jamaica’s women and children.
