How pleasant it is to see this new release from O.B.F. alongside Nazamba & Sammy Dread. This latest release on the Dubquake record label comes after the passing in 2022 of George “Nazamba’ Scott, also known, earlier in his career as ‘WildLife’. Nazamba’s passion-infused poetry meets Sammy Dread’s, ‘Morning Love’! An iconic track, recorded at Tuff Gong Studio, from the Thompson Sound catalog re-worked by O.B.F, backed in finesse by the Roots Radics. The project is also out on 12″ Vinyl available via bandcamp.

After ‘Curfew’ and ‘Sweet Sensimilia’, ‘Evening Love’, is the third banger in this series: a fresh version of Sammy Dread’s ‘Morning Love’! It is a passion-infused song known for appearing on the legendary album ‘Linval Meets Invaders‘.

On ‘She Nah Lie’, Nazamba’s poetry is filled with warmth & romance, backed in finesse by the Roots Radics. To finish things off nicely, Katja Bot gave the artwork her magic touch.
