After three well-received singles, the producers at Real People Music are happy to announce the release of Jerone’s first EP “Rising” this December 4th. Five tracks range from rocksteady to classic one drop and modern roots reggae and show the diversity and skills of young talent and Digicel Rising Star, Jerone Riley. His lyrics about love, self-confidence, and own identity, as well as friendship and trust were written by the gifted singer while the musical composition of the project was created by Alex “Drummie” Domhoever, who gathered prestigious and prolific musicians from Jamaica and Germany in the studio for the recording. 

About Jerone 
Jerone is a promising young artist hailing from the Waterhouse community in Jamaica’s capital Kingston, a city that bursts with rhythm, melodies, and vibes, and is internationally known as the birthplace of reggae music. Naturally, he started his personal musical journey in church, where his exceptional talent was quickly discovered as he began singing and playing instruments at an early age. In 2017 Jerone entered the renowned Jamaican talent competition Rising Stars in which he placed in the top 10 earning much recognition and praises from both the judges and the audience. Now the singer is pursuing his artistic career, moreover seeking to inspire and spread love globally. 

Real People Music 
Real People Music is a music production unit and record label from Germany. Drummer and producer Alex “Drummie” Domhoever and journalist and media designer Ursula “Munchy” Münch founded the company in 2017 aiming to create authentic and high-quality Jamaican music. After the release of their first successful juggling riddim “Buff Baff” in 2019, they set the focus on Jerone and his debut EP in 2020.
