Yesterday, in celebration of ‘Ganja Smokers Holiday‘ 4/20, New York Based Reggae band RSNY released their EP called ‘Zaza Pack’ The EP holds 4 heavy-bass driven tracks celebrating the sacred herb. The EP follows their Debut Album ‘The Journey Begins‘ which was released in 2018.
Track 1 on the EP is Love Mi Marijuana, a song that obviously speaks for itself, which also counts for the lyrics that tell us about consuming the herb.
On track 2, an ode is brought to the Real Ganja Man, the person we all know, the one with the best Kush and the one that burns the Sensi the hardest 🙂 (With references to Black Uhuru’s Stalk Of Sensimilla.
Bij the time we burn the 2nd spliff we ended up at Track 3, She Just Wanna, a nice track about that one sweet girl that just wanna chill, party, and smoke. Sang over Gregory Isaac’s (Sly & Robbie’s) Night Nurse Riddim.
Track number 4 is a more Hip-Hop driven track called Hol’ Up, another track that, of course, celebrates and gives an ode to smoking the Ganja herb.
To be honest, for us the band was gone under the radar for a while, but we will surely keep following the next moves from this 4-man band from New York again. We suggest you also have a listen to their song “Memba Them Days‘ which was released on April 8, 2022.
