Thierry presents his debut album, Asante. The Congolese drummer and singer living in Italy began working on the project during the pandemic and has taken care of every last detail to achieve a surprising result.

Asante is an eclectic album, based on the deepest roots reggae, but at the same time tribal and pop, orchestral and progressive in its capillary arrangements. It is a work carried out with the help of numerous international artists, all with a strong personal relationship with Thierry.

The eleven-track album has been produced and curated in Kingston 7, Jamaica at Anchor Studios by multiple Grammy Awards winner Delroy “Phatta” Pottinger and edited by Lucia Nesbit of Rising Roots Entertainment.

Asante (in Swahili “thank you”) is a thank you for all the teachings received, for the experiences lived and to be lived, a love prayer addressed to everyone. This album reveals the musical and cultural roots of a positive and proactive artist, emphasizing his deepest essence, unconditional love, on a journey towards our “I”.
