Meta Dia expressed to be excited to release his new single, “Lively and Up,” a vibrant roots reggae track produced by Tuviel Levi. Meta, the band’s lead vocalist, reflects on the inspiration behind the track, highlighting the importance of preserving natural spaces and staying connected to real culture.

When asked about the song Meta replied to World A Reggae: “This song is a reminder for each and everyone that life is a gift. Despite the sacrifices, losses, and hardships, we cannot give up our purpose in life. We have to keep it lively and up!!“.

Born in Senegal and now based in New York, Meta formed the Cornerstones in 2006, blending reggae with Afropop, rock, and soul. “Lively and Up” is the first in a series of singles leading up to the upcoming album in 2025, and it will be available on all major streaming platforms from September 13th.
