Reggae Singer-Songwriter, Naomi Cowan partners with Grammy-nominated producer Teflon Zincfence of Zincfence Records on her new summertime love song titled ‘Paradise Plum’. Naomi is the daughter of the legendary Reggae music couple producer Tommy Cowan and songstress Carlene Davis.
A paradise plum is a type of hard-candy in Jamaica; sweet, layered and coated with sugar. Like the candy the song has so many different layers. “Paradise” and a bit of a fantasy; a fusion of lover’s rock and thug passion… bad gyal in the verse, lady on the chorus. “My hope for this song is that it transcends boundaries. Everyone deserves that sweet, authentic, Paradise Plum type of love.” -Naomi Cowan
Zinc Fence Records producer Teflon (best known for his work with Chronixx.), expresses that it was a “very creative process. Paradise Plum is a record filled with love, enjoyment, and happiness…all combined in one sweet vibe.”
The single distributed by VPAL Music, under VP Records hits all digital platforms on Friday May 4th .
