Reggae Roast present their new single Blood & Fire Medley, a reggae/drum & bass hybrid in which they join forces with two of the leading voices of the UK reggae scene, Horseman and Natty Campbell.
The Blood & Fire Medley samples Blood & Fire by Niney The Observer, first released back in 1971, breathing new life into this great classic, transforming it into a high-energy party bubbler.
Reggae Roast’s frontman Natty Campbell has made a name for himself working in the likes of Chase & Status and The Dub Pistols. His rapid-fire flow and good energy make him one of the best MCs in the UK. Horseman is one of the country’s veteran dancehall MCs, collaborating with legendary producer Prince Fatty and The Dub Pistols.
This is a new preview of Reggae Roast upcoming album More Fire due for release in June and featuring an array of world-famous reggae stars including Horace Andy, Johnny Clarke, Soom T, and Mr. Williamz among others.
Additionally, on April 28, Reggae Roast will team up with one of the UK’s leading dancehall stars, Gappy Ranks, to release another track of their next album, My Selecta. It’s the story of Gappy and his influences, over a thumping groove that samples the classic rocksteady track Midnight Hour by the Silvertones from Trojan Records.
Reggae Roast has established itself as one of the UK’s leading sound system and production outfits, performing at festivals including Glastonbury, Outlook, and Boomtown, as well as touring with UB40 and Alborosie in 2022. Their consistent high-quality output has seen them working with artists like General Levy, Horace Andy, and Mad Professor.
