After taking over the airwaves this past summer with Gyptian on Summer Summer, Brilliant works with Producer Charan again for the new single: Guh Round Dem.
The video was shot just days before hurricane Sandy hit the shores of Jamaica.
Brilliant and Charan met when the Producer travelled down to Jamaica’s capital, Kingston to promote his riddims in the summer of 2011. This year the first collaboration featuring Gyptian was released in May, under his label Bosch Records.
After the previous succes they work together again on the new single.
Guh Round Dem is a new theatrical mixture where choir/violin harmonies meet raw synths and pumping african drums.
Charan on the song: “i wanted to try something new, Hardcore Dancehall with a epic feeling to it”

Brilliant
Growing up in Montego Bay, Brilliant found himself writing lyrics and counteracting songs of many popular artists such as Buju Banton as early as the eigth grade. As a youth he remembered having clashes in the classroom and collecting a dollar ($1 JA) for admissions.
Brilliant got started in the music industry professionally in the year 2002 whilst he did a counteraction of Elephant Man’s song Pon de River’ and titled his Inna de river. As a determined artist he used to hang out at the High Tension studio and got the opportunity to tour Europe in the year 2005 where he later did collaborations with various artists from Germany.
