Sanjay presents the video clip of the single Don’t Chase The New feat. Alaine. The single talks about appreciating what we have instead of listening to the inner voice always asking for more.

The Jamaican artist was joined by Alaine in this song taken from his album Man Of My Word, published last November. It is part of the emotional journey through the stages of a sentimental breakup proposed in the album, which could be described as EMO dancehall.

The video is based on a concept written by Krystia Royes and shows a couple fighting and the man going to the bar, where he meets another wise older man played by Mikey Bennett. The two connect musically and personally and from there the main character heads to the beach and drives through the night until he gets the realization that home is where his heart is and he goes back.

The video clip for Don’t Chase The New feat. Alaine can be seen on YouTube and the single is available on digital platforms. The artwork was designed by popular Jamaican visual artist Richard Nattoo, currently exhibiting in the United Kingdom.
