Rasta Love, as in the Love that abounds between a man and a woman, is some of the sweetest love to see and behold. More and more, younger artists are sharing the love they feel for their spouse, and fans can’t get enough. Iba Mahr takes us on his journey of Love via “Love You Girl!, the track released last year on the In Transit Riddim, but popping right now!

Performed to the In Transit Riddim, produced by Notis Records, the Youth from Harar pours out his heart to the apple of his eye, which includes lyrics of love and devotion like: “I just simply love it when you put it on I / cause ain’t no other do it better than I / remember it was love that created you and I / so don’t be shy / this love we constituted / could never be diluted / and you’re the prescription the doctor recommended….”

There is nothing more reassuring for a woman than to hear lyrics of love and romance from the man she adores. In this case, Iba is singing on behalf of men around the world who may struggle to say the words themselves!

The Official Video for “Love You Girl’ will premiere on World A Reggae This week. The video was shot in Amsterdam this summer during Iba Mahr’s Summer Tour in Europe.
