Rototom Sunsplash is warming up for its 22 edition, the sixth consecutive occasion in Benicassim, with this year’s theme Peace R(evol)ution. With the first few hundred visitors already set up in the campsite and at just twenty four hours from doors open when the festival will fill the air with music and light. The reggae festival raises the curtain with a deck of aces up its sleeve: more than 18 hours of activities daily on its different stages and in its varied thematic areas –from 13:00 to 08:00 the next day-; the 70th birthday of Bob Marley in the horizon; new space and stages; record in presales (up 10% on last years sales); visitors from over 73 countries and expecting to surpass last years mark of 250,000 visitors. Nothing really when you stop to think about it.
