Train To Roots presents their new single Pro Tie, a love song dedicated to parents and the sacrifices they make for their children.
After almost two years of hiatus due to the pandemic, the Sardinian band resumes the journey back to its musical roots. A journey began in 2019 with the singles Denaro and Oi, with lyrics in Italian and Sardinian. Musically recalls the British reggae that inspired them from the first moment.
“Pro Tie is a song that marks the return to rhythms and sounds of our beginnings, where the British matrix of the proposed style brings to mind atmospheres of Steel Pulse as well as Third World. The lyrics are in the southern variant of the Sardinian language, phonetically very sweet and melodic”, explains keyboardist and producer Antonio ‘Papa’Ntò’ Leardi.
In addition to Papa’Ntò and the rest of the current line-up, with Doctor Bass on bass, Stiv Man I and Jambo on guitars and Bujumannu on vocals, Lee Van Beatz on drums and Golden Pipes on winds were also added for the recording of this song.
The video clip, shot on a beautiful beach in Sardinia, marks the first collaboration with the audiovisual production house Roble Factory.
Distributed by Metatron / INRI in Europe and Latin America and by VPAL Music in the rest of the world, Pro Tie is available on all digital platforms and the video can be seen on the Train To Roots YouTube channel.
