Known for musical innovation and creativity, Ugandan-born reggae/dancehall artist Sama Sojah, born Waiswa Ivan Tony has led a prolific career that shows no sign of stopping. His knack for lyrics and creating out-of-the-box musical dialogues while infusing traditional Ugandan music with afro-beats and dancehall reggae has shown his vast versatility and attracted the likes of prominent producers like ‘’Magic Washington’’ for his hit ‘’Akaama’’, ‘’Nyonyi nyange’’ with producer ‘’Crouch’’ of Jeeb records have further enlarged his Ugandan audience, while hits like ‘’Money’’ and ‘’Akadde’’ have been staples in his core Ugandan fan base.

Among his many achievements beyond music, Sama Sojah has worked and composed music for Uganda’s leading artists such as ‘’Bebe Cool’’ for projects like ‘’Ndiwuwo’ ’and ‘’Nsilikamu’’, ‘’Amaaso’’ by ‘’Vinka ft. ‘’Winnie Nwagi’’ hit the airwaves of the country.
